Huge Tamworth retail park completes another crucial stage
Clegg Food Projects was appointed to fully refurbish and expand Ventura Retail Park, Tamworth.
Overview of Ventura Park project
A large-scale expansion and refurbishment project at Ventura Retail Park, Tamworth, has now completed, with the new and updated units opening to shoppers earlier this year.
The project, which has been being undertaken by Clegg Group, started on site more than five years ago and has involved external and internal alterations, and refurbishments to existing units.
The construction involved the build of a large new unit to house major anchor brands such as Aldi, Next, Costa Coffee, Wren Kitchens, Mothercare, Halfords and Primark.
Ventura Park is home to some of the biggest and brightest brands in retail, and many of the units required alterations to meet the requirements of its new tenants. This involved making sure that each unit met the brands individual needs, brand guidelines and a timely completion.
As main contractor, Clegg Group, which was appointed by JB Aucott, stated that public safety has been paramount throughout the project and that they have focused on ensuring that access to the park has been improved through out the construction process.
Work first started at the site five years ago, in 2017, and finished earlier this year, with the additional units, making it a much more appealing retail outlet to the public.
